On April 29th, People’s Climate Marches will take place in over 200 cities across the nation, including Tulsa, a city once heralded as the "oil capital of the world." We will come together in solidarity with hundreds of thousands of people to reject the proposed cuts in the EPA and other federal agencies which will decimate programs that are critical to addressing climate change, protecting our air, water quality wildlife habitat, promoting energy efficiency, green jobs and environmental justice initiatives that protect low income communities.
We believe that in this moment of division, turmoil, and fear, it’s important to put forward a positive vision that inspires and connects people from all walks of life. By creating a massive and sustained action that goes beyond the streets and into our nation’s courtrooms, legislative bodies, schools, businesses and faith communities, we can build an economy powered by clean, renewable energy.
