It's time we took our message to the (suburban) streets! Ever notice how much traffic surrounds Crocker Park on a Saturday afternoon?
Suzy has been working on a very long sign focusing on paying for The Wall with cuts to spending on everything from the Coast Guard to Meals on Wheels and the National Forest System.
We will need volunteers to help hold the sign on the public sidewalk near this very busy intersection. Our goal is that people will see the sign, think about this insane budget and Wall and call Rob Portman to speak out against it (his phone number will be on the sign), and that it will spark conversations and awareness among people who haven't thought much about these issues.
We will meet on the southwest corner of Detroit and Crocker at 2pm and be out there until at least 3pm.
