This 3-hour workshop is based on the work of George Lakoff and other psychologists and linguists who have discovered how the human brain really processes information. See how framing has worked for conservative groups and learn how to think about, and fight for, progressive values.
At the completion of the workshop participant will be able to:
• Identify the relationship between frames and messages
• Recognize the dominant world-views of conservatives and progressives
• Practice the unlearning of bad habits that produce weak political messaging
• Build a progressive values vocabulary
• Connect progressive values to policy positions
• Craft a progressive message useful in conversations and campaigns
• Frame issues important to communities, boost confidence, and impact electoral outcomes
This workshop is offered Dec 3rd and 4th. Register for one session only.
Cost: $35/person
