Protect Trans Rights (hosted by Not Straight Against Hate)

The Trump administration has recently withdrawn the rights for transgender students to use the bathroom they identify with.

This is more than just the bathrooms people are allowed to use, but it is an act of transphobia and hate. We will not be silenced. Our rights will not be silenced. We need to speak up for trans rights.

This event is going to be a large group hug in Washington square park. Many people are feeling very targeted due to the transgender bathroom laws that have been taken away. This event will give space to give those a hug who may need one during this difficult time.
