Join in the monthly vigil at the NRA headquarters in Fairfax Virginia on October 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. We hold vigil on the 14th of each month in remembrance of the Sandy Hook massacre that occurred in Newtown, CT on Dec. 14, 2012 that took the lives of 26 innocents, mostly children.
We remember the children, the teachers and all of the senseless lives lost to gun violence in our country. And sadly today, we mourn the hundreds killed and wounded in Las Vegas. We will continue to hold vigil until there are legislative changes to protect Americans from senseless gun deaths and injuries.
21 years have passed since the Brady Law that mandated federal background checks was enacted, but 40% of gun sales still don't require a background check. Tell Congress to stop bad guys from getting guns.
Bring a sign that expresses your concerns about gun violence, or signs will be available there.
