We will not allow this conflict to distract us from the complete disaster that is Trump’s domestic policy, which is clearly at least partly his intent with this move. In addition to opposing this reckless action, we must remain vigilant and not take our eyes off the issues he’s trying to distract us from. Our anti-war stance is and always will remain intersectional, focusing on many different issues affected by these types of conflicts. In the words of Martin Luther King, Jr. “Our only hope today lies in our ability to recapture the revolutionary spirit and go out into a sometimes hostile world declaring eternal hostility to poverty, racism, and militarism.”
Join us at 5pm, Sunday, April 9th at City Hall to say, “Hands Off Syria, Peace Now!”
