March 1 is a National Day of Action to resist the Trump corporate agenda and its impacts on higher education. Boston University represents everything about a corporate university - a school that puts profit before students, workers and our communities.
At 11:30 AM, we will rally to tell President Brown and the BU administration to choose a higher standard and:
- Become a sanctuary for immigrant students and workers
- Value and negotiate fairly with faculty unions on campus
- Divest from fossil fuels, and
- Stand up to the rising tide of Islamophobia in our country.

But we know the problem is larger than BU.
At 5:30 pm, come hear about how students, workers, and community members from across Boston are fighting back as we launch a city-wide coalition to protect higher education.
We will learn about the legacy of campus activism, current campaigns, and figure out next steps together. Join us for an open strategy session followed by a candlelight vigil.
