The Sacramento LGBT Community Center in partnership with Equality California, The California Endowment, and a coalition of community groups have organized to stand in solidarity and March for Equality before Sacramento Pride.
With so many communities under threat and facing bigotry and hate, it’s time for us all to come together to promote love and #ResistHate. Please join us as an advocate, ally, friend, or family member and March for Equality in Sacramento on Saturday, June 3 at 9 a.m. as we gather to march for equality before the Sacramento Pride Parade. March from 3rd and O streets at Crocker Park to the Capitol down N street stepping off at 10 a.m.
This may be the first time you’ve participated in any LGBTQ or Pride event. If so, this march is a perfect opportunity for the many diverse communities that make up Sacramento to build bridges and become united. The LGBTQ+ community includes people of every race, faith tradition, immigration status, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Members of our community and our allies are experiencing increased levels of hostility and discrimination and we must stand united to overcome these threats. Stand with us and be part of one of many equality marches happening all over the country in June.
