Political leaders across the country—including the mayors of Houston, Austin, and Dallas—are taking a stand against President Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement. They are stating unequivocal support for the goals of the historic agreement which is supported by nearly 200 nations, all working to prevent global climatic catastrophe. In San Antonio, a coalition of environmental, labor, indigenous, and human rights groups will stand together to insist San Antonio's mayor stand for the agreement and, thereby, the health and wellbeing of all San Antonians and the most vulnerable communities around the world. They will call for a robust San Antonio climate action plan and commitment to a 100-percent renewable future.
