Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County will be holding a rally event at the East Meadow Farm location on April 22nd, 2017 to coincide with the March for Science being held in Washington D.C.
This celebration of Earth Day will commence at 10am and will include talks from scientists & environmentalists, tours of our demonstration and teaching gardens, a short feature film to celebrate Earth Day, family activities, and more!
The day’s activities will wrap up around 2pm and at this time we will begin our “march” for science around the East Meadow Farm property.
All participants and visitors are welcome to stay afterwards and enjoy the farm. Local honey, syrup, and farm fresh chicken and duck eggs will be available for purchase as well.
