Our community has been identified as one of the ten in the world most threatened by sea level rise. Predictions for sea level rise by the year 2100 range from several inches to several feet or even more. Why is there so much uncertainty? How close are we to a “tipping point"? How do we avoid it?
On Tuesday July 18th, Tampa Bay Sierra Club Chair Kent Bailey will present information from leading experts in the field, official sources, and actual field data to explore and understand what we can reasonably expect and when we can expect it.
