Single Payer Healthcare for All Rally

April 8, 2017,
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

In March, we saw the rise and fall of the proposed "Trumpcare" bill, which was a huge win for progressively minded folks as well as the American people as a whole. Through the hard work and dedication of people like you, we have effectively saved the ACA! That is a tremendous success, but now it's time to start pushing for something better: a single payer healthcare system that works for every American!

It is a moral outrage for a country as wealthy as ours to leave 60 million people with no reliable access to health care and tens of millions more with inadequate or overly expensive coverage. In addition, despite spending nearly twice as much as other developed nations on health care, our system performs poorly, because the private U.S. insurance bureaucracy soaks up as much as one-third of all the money and pharmaceutical interests overburden America by avoiding price competition.

Please join us on April 8th at 3 PM in the courtyard outside the West Palm Beach City Hall for a rally in support of a single payer health care system. We will have speakers from all walks of life speaking about their personal experiences in how single payer would benefit them and society, as well as health care professionals who are in support of this system.

Bring your flair! Signs, flags, banners, buttons, noise makers, drums, and other non-amplified instruments are welcome!
