This event will provide an overview of the Indivisible Guide and discussion on how we have been and will continue to utilize this playbook in the KC area. In addition to discussing how we will apply pressure to the U.S. Members of Congress, speakers will share how to stay atop state-level legislation in Kansas and Missouri, and how to provide written testimony for state legistlation. In addtion, we will also have conversation about First Amendment rights, and the power of peaceful organizing and demonstration.
Admission is free, but we ask attendees to provide a small cash donation, if possible, to cover event space rental and ASL interpretation (ASL interpreters will be available at the event).
