Stockton will join the rest of the country and the planet in a March for Science on Saturday morning, April 22 at Victory Park. The march will be two hours only -- between 9 and 11 a.m.
Show your support for Mother Earth. Give a shout out to science, technology, engineering and math.
At precisely 10 a.m., marchers will spread out on the sidewalk around Victory Park and do a "Chain Reaction."
We did the math … and we need 1034 people to complete the loop. Come out and be a link in this chain!
Bring your own signs or make one that morning. There will be supplies on hand.
Be sure to come back the next day for the 29th Annual Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 23. The festival will feature environmental and science-related booths, along with food, entertainment, and kid-friendly activities. Both events are at Victory Park.
