SURJ KC Families: Stories as Strategy for Racial Justice

We are planning an interactive, racial justice story time for families. Bring your children/youth, and we'll use books and other activities to put into practice some of the strategies we've been discussing on how to talk to our kids about race and racism. Save the date with more details to come!

At 3:30, there will be a brief introduction. Then we'll have 6 stations for families to attend at their pace with stories, and other forms of literature, you can read together and an activity. Five stations will include literature and an activity for multiple ages, including tweens/teens. We will also have one station specifically for tweens/teens and their caregivers.
