In solidarity with tax day protests all over the country, Bethlehem Indivisible will demonstrate on SATURDAY, APRIL 15 from 3 – 5 p.m. at West Capitol Park (S. Swan St. between State St. and Washington Ave.) We intend to make three clear points:
1. We demand that President Trump release his taxes; it has now become a matter of national security.
2. We believe paying taxes to support the functions of our country is patriotic.
3. We support pending New York State legislation (A04072 and S00026) referred to as the Tax Returns Uniformly Made Public Act (a.k.a. T.R.U.M.P. Act). This requires any person on the ballot for New York State Office release their previous five years of tax returns.
