This is a gathering to connect our hearts, connect the dots, and connect the work for justice, peace, and unity on the shortest day of the year. The evening will include a series of short sharings and calls to action from a variety of voices and will conclude with an outdoor candlelight vigil and Wage Love action led by the Detroit Light Brigade. Hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies will be served. This is a family-friendly event - children are welcome. This event is organized by Pax Christi Detroit and co-sponsored by the Detroit Light Brigade, St. Peter's Episcopal, Swords into Plowshares Peace Center and Gallery, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom - Detroit, IHM Sisters, Meta Peace Team, Poor People's Campaign Detroit, We Stand With Our Neighbors Vigil, and Marygrove College Masters in Social Justice.
