Initiative 1552, an insidious initiative against our transgender community, is attemping to gather enough signatures to sneak onto the November ballot. This would be a huge setback for our state.
We ask that campaigns across Seattle join Washington Won't Discriminate and the Neighborhood Action Coalition by weaving a message and strategy against I-1552 in their own field work. We also invite participation in a trans solidarity field day on May 14th to ask Washingtonians to commit that they will decline to sign I-1552.
