The Trump-Proof Seattle campaign aims to bring a progressive income tax to Seattle, affecting only the wealthiest 5% of households. A tax of just 1.5% on income in excess of $250K would raise over $125M per year in Seattle! We can protect against Trump's proposed budget cuts, challenge our state's unjust tax system, and ensure a dignified standard of living for all Seattle residents.
This Town Hall is organized by, and for, residents of District 6, but all are welcome to attend. The event is co-sponsored by the District 6 Neighborhood Action Council, the Transit Riders Union, 350 Seattle, and Nickelsville Ballard.
