UHPP Teach-in: “Clergy for Choice. How does religion impact us?”

Join Rabbi Dennis Ross from Concerned Clergy for Choice, Reverend Kim Singletary from the Overcomers Ministries International Church in Hudson and Sara Hutchinson Ratcliffe from Catholics for Choice, and as we discuss how religion plays a part in the reproductive rights and women’s movement. We will discuss various religious traditions and how they support a woman’s moral and legal right to follow her conscience in matters of sexuality and reproductive health. Religious bans on contraception and abortion have had a disastrous impact on women’s lives. You will learn how to effectively frame and discuss religion and choice in today’s world.
