In this challenging political climate -- a right-wing backlash, xenophobia and white supremacy on the rise, and social justice movements poised to fight back -- many of us are ready to step up our engagement with organizations on the front lines of resisting, protecting, and laying the groundwork for progressive change. One way to engage is by donating to grassroots, social justice organizations. But how do you decide how much and to who? Should the urgency of the current moment change the way we give? This interactive, cross-class workshop will help you begin to think through these questions and get you started with creating a giving plan that aligns with your values.

Whether you are trying to figure out how to start giving, or you are struggling with aspects of your current giving, this workshop will help you think about the big questions that can lead to a greater sense of purpose. We'll have plenty of time for discussion and offer resources that can help you move you towards action, taking time to reflect, learn from others, and come out ready to plan your giving for the year ahead.

Dinner included, childcare upon request.
