HEC Environmental Advocates

Environmental Advocates (EAs) help spread important information to Hoosiers across the state. They help inform citizens about environmental legislation in the Statehouse; they spread their knowledge and passion through tabling events and attending meetings; they perform outreach via phone and social media; and more!

Your time commitment as an EA is entirely up to you – we are simply looking for passionate and inspired supporters to help us in our outreach work. If you have the motivation and are willing to commit any amount of time to helping us advocate for a cleaner, greener environment then please join us! Trainings are scheduled monthly. EAs who complete two training workshops and volunteer at least 10 hours a semester will receive a certificate and a letter of reference.
