We are witnessing the onset of a new era, where mass conflicts are spreading across the world. This unprecedented expansion of conflict and war is wasting lives, wasting resources, and destroying the environment. From South Sudan to Yemen, from the Ukraine to Iraq, from Kashmir to the militarized Mexico-U.S. border, the numbers of victims is staggering. War is becoming the rule, not the exception.
