Coalition for Justice, Blacksburg, VA
The Coalition for Justice was formed in 1981, in response to the Reagan administration's support for the Salvadoran government's violent repression of progressive movements. Since that time, we have come to take a more global view and see that we are part of a larger human rights community where all people's struggles for peace, justice, and dignity must be observed and nurtured. We firmly believe that the most just, effective and responsible form of resistance, even to the most extreme form of violence, is nonviolent resistance.
